I have my first model shoot in about an hour or so. Anybody have any advice?
I've only ever taken pictures of my friends or candid pictures of people I don't know. But this time I'm meeting a girl that I've never met before. She's modeled before...so I'm hoping that will make things easier for me as the photographer.
I made a list of all the locations I want to shoot at....but I'm going to let her pick a few out as well.
I just got done looking through a couple of the past challenges for some inspiration....so wish me luck!

Advice : Seek advice with a lead time of more than an hour :)
More advice : Ain't done a model shoot myself, so ignore my input.
Good luck, hope it will go well.

Get her to relate to you, not the camera. If she's modeled before I'm assuming she'll try to do that anyway.
Not very helpful, but I've not done a model shoot either, and have only ever modeled for one person. |

Lol....yeah, I probably should of asked for advice a little earlier, but hey...what can you do?
I think I'm pretty prepared, I'm confident....and that's all that matters.

Looking at your portfolio, I shouldn't think you'll have any problems.

Keep her engaged in conversation. It makes it less awkward for you both and gives opportunity to natural facial expressions.

I wouldn't worry, I am sure you will do fine and can't wait to see the shots.
