Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM

Yup, just got home, went outside to turn on the pool pump and right there in my swimming pool a DUCK! Just one making himself right at home.

Now it may be common place in some parts of the country but in my backyard never! I run in the house grab the D70s with the 80-200mm on it (always) and sneak back out to get some shots. We played photog and model until my cf card was full and these I thought were the best.

A similar thing happened to me, but my pics didn't come out as good as yours...

He was good for target practice anyway.

Great shots, love that middle one lol could be saying, "What are you looking at? No, I'm not that lame duck from Aflac".

When growing up some ducks got stuck in a sand storm so my brother and sister rescued them and put them on our back porch till the storm was over...well they never left. We ended up putting a bathtub in the back yard by the rabbit hutches and they would just have a ball swimming in it lol. We even got ducklings later but other animals got to them.

Will the chlorine in the pool hurt them? The natural oils must keep it away from their skin.
