The fact is, a picture of a flower, no matter how good it is, is usually going to be seen as just another flower image. Even if your photo is excellent many people will vote it down for being so unoriginal.

It wasn't the fact that it was a flower (would have done great in "botony"), it was the fact that it seemed to have been stretched to fit the challenge. Like I said before, if my angel image DMNC, how does a static shot of a flower?

Your mistake is assuming you are as smart as the average "DNMC" voter. They are so smart they know more than you do about your own thinking. LOL!!!

Don't take it personal. In a group this large you are always going to get strange and/or contradictory comments. That is part of the fun. :)

Hey your image is wicked i like it so did others ,i woldnt get upset about it that much :)
Some had fully black image conception of the afterlife ,oh ya there was white one as well lol .
