Guys,

Climateprediction.net is the largest experiment to try and produce a forecast of the climate in the 21st century. To do this, we need people around the world to give us time on their computers - time when they have their computers switched on, but are not using them to their full capacity.

Signup here and let your spare computer cycles be put to good use.

Ah, you saw that on BBC last night too. Only thing is I'm thinking all those computers needed to make the prediction are going to increase global warming in the process, so we already know the outcome :D

Just to add what the program said, basicaly the climate will rise in temp by between 1.4 and 6 degrees Celcius, if it rises above 2 degrees the damage cannont be reversed. This prediction is to narrow down the 1.4 - 6 degrees.
