With my camera! My first real studio attempt at portraits. I found it a very interesting experience. (I would post a pic or two but I didn't ask and would not assume it was ok) He is also a photographer so we worked with lighting and set-up together. I wanted it to be more of a 'he shot his own portrait' but it just wasn't going to work that way.

I must say though that for all of you who do it as part of your general work, kudos! I never thought it was easy but I certainly didn't think there was as much involved as there was: glasses, badges, foreheads, eyes, teeth, gloves, colars, etc. and on and on as you know better than I.

It was an interesting experience and one area I would love to pursue...very interesting work, portraiture. Now all I need is models...that aren't woodies.

Oh and for the record he was a retired Captain of the Pittsfield police force in full dress uniform. Very impressive to say the least. 28+ years on the force, hash marks on the sleeve, polished badges on the breast and hat. No gun though...damn, can't have everything.

I guess you didn't read the post...I didn't ask if it was ok to post a pic so I don't think it is right for me to do so...
