has anyone had to deal withthis ? and if so, do you know the price in which the repairs will cost to replace the pipe outside? I have called many plumbers today and no one seems to want to tell me what it might cost (average). I think we missed the deadline by a yr! we have a townhouse that was built in 1991

We have that stuff in our house, but I have no idea when it was installed, only that it was put in before we moved in (1999). I hate that stuff, while we have not had any leaks, it doesn't inspire any confidence.
I'd replace it myself, but I have a long list of projects ahead of that. One of the joys of owning an older home I guess.
