Have been trying to get my comments made above those received and just noticed that I have more helpful comments than I've given. Ok, the more astute of you will know that my comments given won't roll over until tomorrow yet the helpfull ones are instant.

Can anybody else do this?

Probably you voted on a current contest, and comments helpful was updated but comments made will be updated at the end of the challenge.

Just a guess.

I've got more made than recieved, which is sorta impressive considering I have to compete with a fairly constant inflow... LOL

I wish quality commenters that do it on a regular basis got more recognition. I am not really sure how to do that, but their role at DPC is quite important.

I try to give comments when I want to kill a few mintues. Not sure about the quality though.

I've tried to force myself into leaving more meaningful comments via critique club.... I must admit though that sometimes it's really hard to work with some photos.

I have a hard time telling people they've not done a good job and I really sweat when a not so good photo comes up for critique.

Ofcourse, I try my best to diffuse the situation a bit with humor.

Edit to add: I really do suggest to anyone that wants some structure to leaving more constructive comments give CC a shot.

Who Cares???? I comment when I need to and I appreciate comments. If I need comments on something, I ask for it.

Always comment on photos with cheese...
