Heard on the news this morning that the newest trend in Japan is for couples to have two sets of photographs taken - one set the normal set to share with family and friends and the second (for their own collection) is to be photographed in the nude.
Very strange - any wedding photographers from Japan here to share some of this work?

mmmm - apparently this is not great news to anybody....????

I'm not from japan, sorry.

I think the idea is a bit weird. I'd never want to be photographed in nude, only when I take the photo myself.

It strikes me as a very Japanese thing to do. They of the "pillow books" and all... I find it an intriguing tidbit of inormation...

LOL - I wonder how and where this trend started and when it is going to hit South Africa - Reporter also said that apparently the parents of the couples getting married are not very impressed with the whole idea.

The parents are not impressed? Now, there's a shocker. I just heard on the radio that there's a "Clothing optional" resort getting to open near here. I might go up there to practice nude photography, but my big butt's staying covered. I wouldn't want to scare anyone.

LOL - personally I don't see anything wrong with nudity. I used to be very overweight and made work of it and dropped 16 kilos in 8 months. Even before the weightloss I was not shy - I was happy with myself - who cares what others think. (not that I walk around naked - I am talking without shirt)

It's different for you. You're a man.
