I need a model release for Big Stock and/or Istock or generic that is NOT in PDF format. I have Acrobat reader, but whenever I try to open a PDF file my poor computer goes nuts. This last time, it caused a blue screen crash. Can somebody help me out?

What format do you want it in? You can email me the PDF of the one you want and I can try and convert it.
Warning -- iStock's release is protected and can't be as easily modified. |

| I printed the istock release, intending to scan it and email it to you. It turned into a bit of a project, and I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling my HP scanner software. Anyway, I have it scanned and will email it to the address on your profile page. Good luck with your stock! |

Word would be a good format. I can't download or anything. The minute I click on the link my computer goes bonkers. I'm going to my sister's house tonight and would like to take the releases with me. Some of the pictures are of her, some are of the girl in the Aphrodite picture (but different pictures), and of Aprodite's children.

Adult Model Release
In consideration of my engagement as a model, upon the terms herewith stated, I hereby give to photographer̢۪s name goes here his/her heirs, legal representatives and assigns, those for whom photographer̢۪s name goes here is acting, and those acting with his/her authority and permission:
a) the unrestricted right and permission to copyright and use, re-use, publish, and republish photographic portraits or pictures of me or in which I may be included intact or in part, composite or distorted in character or form, without restriction as to changes or transformations in conjunction with my own or a fictitious name, or reproduction hereof in color or otherwise, made through any and all media now or hereafter known for illustration, art, promotion, advertising, trade, or any other purpose whatsoever.
b) I also permit the use of any printed material in connection therewith.
c) I hereby relinquish any right that I may have to examine or approve the completed product or products or the advertising copy or printed matter that may be used in conjunction therewith or the use to which it may be applied.
d) I hereby release, discharge and agree to save harmless [photographer], his/her heirs, legal representatives or assigns, and all persons functioning under his/her permission or authority, or those for whom he/she is functioning, from any liability by virtue of any blurring, distortion, alteration, optical illusion, or use in composite form whether intentional or otherwise, that may occur or be produced in the taking of said picture or in any subsequent processing thereof, as well as any publication thereof, including without limitation any claims for libel or invasion of privacy.
e) I hereby affirm that I am over the age of majority and have the right to contract in my own name. I have read the above authorization, release and agreement, prior to its execution; I fully understand the contents thereof. This agreement shall be binding upon me and my heirs, legal representatives and assigns.

For your Adobe Acrobat Reader problem, I myself was having similar issues with it recently after downloading some updates. I retrograded back the older version and haven't had any problems since. Hope that helps.

| It's a shame you can't use PDF. JPG and RTF would be my second choice(s). JPG would be ok for print but cannot be edited. RTF can be edited, but you might loose a little formatting (which should not be critical given the text you intend). |

Acrobat v4.0 would be a good choice, not what's out now. I still use it all the time. |
