All of you with this lens, anybody found the sweet spot for doing portraiture, I havent used this lens for much more than sports however I have to shoot some portraits very soon and was wondering if anyone could give me tips to save me a little time with testing it out.

I would try about 80-90mm wide open or stopped down to f/5.6.

I just got mine, but I'd have to agree.

If you have a large space, anything up to about 165mm: bokeh, bokeh...
