I would've liked it better without the blocks - seems like a nice photo.

Nothing wrong with the style at all and it is works well in a duotone.
Every style has a type of imagery that best suits it and will not work as well in others. Try this with a landscape of industrial pollution or a dilapidated slum or a wall of gang graffiti.
The style is fine but does not work as well with this particular picture.

I agree that I think it could work better in some different pictures. I have some other ideas to do this with color as well, but instead of changing brightness/contrast change the Hue/Saturation. when i experiment I will get a picture up. |
