How do you fight the temptation to upgrade every now and then?

I just got my current camera camera for a few months and already I'm thinking whether I should jump into a dSLR for the larger sensor and better dynamic range and all those exclusives that only the dSLR could offer.

I need help!

Darn it you people, now I'm REALLY tempted!
It's really the money in my case.
The most affordable at the moment would be the 350D
but still 6 times the price I paid for my Finepix!

Buy the body only and I will give you a good deal on a Tamron 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 XR Di II LD Aspherical (IF) macro lens for Canon (only a few months old, excellent condition) and throw in the kit lens (18-55mm) as well.

aww, damn... even a used 350d is so freaking expensive.
will start hunting for the 300d instead. is it a good buy today?

hey, really nobody is against the temptation?

You may want to consider a second job also so you have enough for a 30D around summertime. You'll definitely want to upgrade from the 300D by then.
