A friend asked me to help out and create an album cover for his demo CD ... wanted to get some feed back on it as it's my first one!

I actually think I would prefer the image without the distortion. Perhaps darkening the background or using a zoom blur would look better.

I feel the same as fotomann stated - the distortion is not doing any good here. At least not applied that heavily.

here is one without so much distortion .. used the distortion to really get the bike and rider to stand out

My advice is try a few things with it... try not to fall in love with any of them, then see what you and your friend like the best.
