This is to work as a bump and to ask for something. Is lightsphoere really worth? I saw it's homepage and it looked very nice but it also looks that many light will be lost to the other sides that the ones you want, making a big "spill". But probably that's why the result is so natural... Just asking.

I guess it depends on your preferences. For me, when all I can use is the on camera flash, I absolutely hate the look of direct flash; the harsh light and strong shadows. When you can bounce the flash, it helps, but sometimes you don't have a ceiling or wall to bounce or the color of the ceiling/wall introduce bad color cast. And outside, you forget bouce flash for fill flash uses. Althought I am not sure about the effectiveness of the Lightsphere for outdoor fill flash...
I never used the Lightpshere, but from what I see, it pretty much act as a softbox for the on camera flash.
