So here's how it went... I was all bummed out this morning, probably mostly because it was Monday and that meant the "W" word. Anyway, I wasn't thrilled with my score in Square Crop. But then a very weird thing happened - my score hit mathematical average (halfway between one and ten) and I was overjoyed! So much so that I logged on (from work, no less) and ordered a lens from B&H.
And this is where we have a problem, Houston... my score has since dropped below that magical mathematical average (halfway between one and ten) so now what do I do? Must I cancel the order?

lol You've got it backwards. You get to keep it on order. If you go back up you've got to cancel it because you don't need it. You're good enough without it. |

I LOVE that logic!! :-)
Gonna leave it on order anyway. It's the 50mm 1.8 jobbie everybody says is neat to have. Will give me something new to play with.
But then, using that logic, DrAchoo needs to return the lens he just bought, right? ;) |

Gosh, if I bought a lens everytime my score dipped below a 5, I'd be able to open a camera store! |

Why thank you! I'd probably own the manufacturer. :o)

Yeah, thank goodness it's not a habit or anything. Normally I'd say I just go buy shoes, but that would be a lie because I hate buying shoes. I've been contemplating the lens for awhile, though, and it's all DPChallenge's fault. Can I sue for the value of the lens?? |

Update: lens has shipped and while my Square Crop score is currently still above the magical mathematical average (halfway between 1 and 10), it's only *barely* above it and dropping today...
But hey, since the lens has shipped, I'm simply going to have to accept it when it gets here. Right? :-) |

The Canon 50mm 1.8 lens. Don't know what I'll do with it, but it seemed like a good idea at the time. |
