Today, I was at the Cincinatti airport waiting for my friend. I had time to read the new issue of the National Geographic and I was struck by the quality of some pictures, simple, efficient, not fake and full of life. I think that is what I like the most in photography. Some may agree that photography is art, but I do not (at least that type of picture). Anyway, I thought those pictures were nice enough to study, I wonder if you knew some websites where I can find journalistic type pictures beside National Geographic.
Thanks a lot

I know you said besides national geographic, but did you check out their website? You can click gallery or archives or something, and view like 5-6 photos from the story. They will also list the camera, lens, settings and so on... I think you can go back a year or two into the archives also. The d70's been in there a few times -- score one for the good guys ;-)
EDIT: visions of earth is my desktop wallpaper hehehe

Not a website, but when you are in a library or book store you might want to check out some of these books:
Magnum Photos Books
You can click on the covers to see some small samples.
