This is really cool... The link below is for a "phychic" crystal ball which will tell you the symbol you are thinking of. Give it a try, it'll blow your mind:

It's sort of disappointing after you figure it out. :) I wish I didn't now, but I couldn't resist at the time.

Eh, i've got to admit I don't understand the trick. Anyone care to enlighten me?

Actually I noticed the symbols changing each time. I guess it has something to do with a common answer despite the number picked, and it just changes to match the symbols.. is that right?

Correct. Your answer will always be from the subset {81, 72, 63, 54, ... } I must admit, I did do a double-take when I saw this.
