So I have had a thought for the Disguise challenge for a bit and today the skys finally cooperate. I pull out the P&S on the way to work, hit the go button and the **&%*& thing closes agin because it's out of juice - got enough to keep pushing the lens in and out but not enough to take a *&% photo.

Had that happen to me once with my new DSLR (P&S used AA's so I kept spare rechargable set in the bag)...was out taking some shots (40 minute drive from home) and the battery died. Big time bummer.
...there was this white cat at the bottom of a tree with a squirrel only 3 or 4 feet above it chattering away at the cat. Would have been such a COOL shot!!!
Ordered a spare lithium battery as soon as I got home. ;^)

| So have you ever gotten somewhere, taken out the camera and started to take some shots. Then you see the message "No CF Card" Yeah.. that sucks. This happened to me twice recently. The second time I was out specifically to take some pictures, so instead of driving all the way home we drove to the nearest store and I picked up an extra card. I've been meaning to do that for awhile.. |

Before I head out I always take a photo in the house. Just a quick way to insure I have a battery and card loaded.
