If anyone's interested, I've posted my used Canon 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 II USM lens for sale on eBay. It's like new, and I'm including a lens hood and Canon UV Haze filter for less than 75% of the B&H cost.
The second-highest rated DPC photo for the Canon 28-105 was taken with this particular lens (thanks, Judi). :-/ |

I simply don't use it anymore. I have a 10-22 for wide, 28-75 for walkaround and 70-200 and 100-400 for telephoto so I'm covered. |

No worries Scalvert. It's a beautiful lens and definitely worth the money. Good luck selling it. The buyer won't regret it. |

Two days too late...but then again, you're getting rid of it and keeping your 28-75mm, and I just purchased the 28-75mm, so I must be on the right track! :-) Good luck, Shannon, you shouldn't have a problem selling it.

No, I only drop lenses on GTGs with other DPCers. :-( |

It must be a GTG thing because Brent tipped over his whole tripod and camera and 2 minutes later KaDi lost her lens hood in the creek below. Oh, and I believe it all happened the same morning you ditched us and went with Neil. hehehe :-)
Edit...'creek' not 'creak'...lol
Edit 2 ...'us' not 'up'...geez.

Ah, yes... that was the morning I went out with nshapiro and dropped my two-week-old 10-22 on asphalt and shattered a borrowed 77mm polarizer to smithereens. It was my second GTG with Neil. On the first one, ericlimon picked up his open camera backpack and dumped everything on the ground... twice. ;-) |
