I have taken the proper steps in reporting.
Those of you who know me, know I do not make rude posts, or insult people I certainly have never done anything to "exacerbate a growing "witch hunt" mentality.
If there is already a system in place to aid in the reporting of possible offences I am confused as to why doing just that is a "waste of peoples time"
Thank you all for your advise.

Hey I fully admit it, I invited my fiance to join and vote on my image. But to vote what she felt it deserved.

She's been a member and a participant since...

In fact, I don't give a darn if you get your wife, mother and other brother to sign up on DPC to vote. In fact, I don't mind if you get your whole scottish clan.

Why? Because

a) they have to vote on 20% of the images for their votes to count

b) many of those registree's will never do the above and not likely vote on any other challenges *poof* gone, those that do only make a significant effect if they vote on 20%. Their one 10 will have little effect (unless you got the whole Scottish Clan to participate) on the other hand it will bring more "voters" to the site. Always a good thing.

c) a large portion of those who do stay, do vote 20% or more of entries and vote continually on entries will likely become participants. And hey that's GREAT!!!

That said, what I am against is a single user creating multiple accounts whether they be ficticious or in the name of relatives and then using all said accounts to raise their vote. I am against one individual having multiple votes. Of course, that means he/she would have to vote 20% of the entries for all accounts in order to make any affect.

Once you realize the system in place it's really not that significant of an issue. And the system already detects stuff that's unusual. (Like all 1 votes). So it will probably detect most "cheating" voting patterns.

As has been mentioned, enforcing the honor system will be more effective if possible violations are reported to site administration, rather than openly speculated-upon in the forums.

ΓΆ€ΒΆ For rules violations on entries, you request validation/DQ from the voting page (and vote as if it's legal)

ΓΆ€ΒΆ For objectionable posts in the forums, use the Report Post button, and [i]don't[i/] reply to the post yourself

ΓΆ€ΒΆ For all other site-related problems use the menu Help > Contact link to open a Ticket -- pick the appropriate category and include a brief description of the problem
