wow, amazing shots!!! That's an area of the country that I haven't had the chance to visit yet, though I'd LOVE to do so, particularly because of these kinds of images. Just lovely! |

thanks Elizabeth.. Its a great place and I might go there again, but this time with more photographer friends than hikers and would spend most of the time taking photos :) |

Your amazing images make me want to visit Death Valley despite it's name. I've only been to the one in Clemson, South Carolina. (not too pretty.) |

Excellent photographs, Gaurawa. The challenge photo by far, is the best of this bunch, and the all of the other challenge entries, IMO. Left some comments. |

Sweet! I'm planning a roadtrip this summer with a couple friends down to that area - Death Valley, Yosemite, Vegas, Great Salt Lakes, Salt Flats, etc.
I just need to convince my mom to get me a Rebel XT... |

Thanks for your comments. It was a great weekend, I would have definitely enjoyed spending more time taking shots, but not all friends I went with were that interested in photography and we had hikes planned. Next time I am going there for just a photo-trip :) |

Make sure you carry enough batteries. they run out fast and if you are camping there is no charging at night, the restrooms there don't even have lights. |

Wow, fantastic shots! They are all so beautiful. I especially love "Badwater".
How's "Moving Rocks" happen?

That's just bizarre! I don't think I've ever heard of them. Very cool, though. Love your shots.

What I find interesting is no one moves the rocks. Or do they? What I mean is they seem to leave them where they've been moved to, and not pick them up and cart them off. |

I don't think you would want anyone to move them around. They are mysterious and should be left there for everyone to take a look at. |
