Is there a place somewhere online to 'rent' a web desinger. I would like to build a fairly complicated site that I think is a bit too much for me to handle. Does anyone have anyone good to recommend.

Before spending big $$s on a web-designer - have you taken a look at clickimage.com? Great site builder, have a look at my site, took me about 2 hours to put together and cost nothing.

If you don't like that direction, have a look at Blish.com - there are designers and templates there.

idnic,

great photos on your site....do you sell much through it and if so is it mainly through word of mouth?

but you can also check out //www.rentacoder.com ... there you can rent a coder to do what ever you need to do (they don't cook for you or clean the house)

I just built this site 2 days ago, but had an e-comm function on my previous site also. My clients all order from there (saves me having prints made for them and shipping to them, they can order directly, pay, get prints sent to them and profit sent to me). I average about $100 - $200 profit on prints from each portrait session. So yeah, it works pretty well.

I'm still updating the new site - I have several other Events I need to add.

PS - I have never sold an art print through my website, but have had several people tell me they intend to buy this one or that one when they get around to it.

Might wanna try Elance //www.elance.com. It is like a community of designers. You just tell them what you want, budget etc, and people quote you their offers.
