I was reading on how to increase dynamic range by "cheating" with multiple photos with different exposures, such as shown in this dynamic range example.

How do you combine the two photos in photoshop to make it appear natural? magic wand? how? please help, thanks

If you have the Photoshop CS2 there is a feature called "Merge to HDR..." (High Dynamic Range) to perfrom this function:
Photoshop CS2 "Merge to HDR"
