Is there a way to stop the camera from creating these files? I'm sick of having to delete them from my PC all the time when I transfer my RAW files over. Does the camera 'need' them?

It looks like you need them. Check out this threadI found. The thm files store the EXIF data.

the THM are the thumbnails the camera needs to display the pics. You do not need them on your PC, and I know of no way to avaoid creating them.

| Alright...cheers guys! I noticed the 350D only has the CR2 file so I was just sort of hoping! |
