You know that thin ~1 pixel border that always seems to be there? (See any of my photos as an example)

How do I get that not to appear after cropping & resizing & saving for web?

:-/

Laugh at me if you must. :-)

Heheee (me laughing) DPC is putting that border there. PS doesn't make one - eventhough you see a border in the working image in PS - print one of your pics from PS - you'll not see a border. :)

That is exactly what's going on :-)

Heh, yep, that darn border has to be taken into account. I don't really like it either, personally, and even asked at one time that we consider removing it, but consensus was to keep it.

That dang border is WHY I always make a border for my pix. At the very least I make a 1-pixel-all-around-black, so I get a 2-pixel black in the displayed print. I hate that wimpy, 1-pixel border.

Heh, actually, I was asking because I was doing an image for a website and when I right-click Preview in Windows Explorer it was showing the border. I've done TONS of web figures before, but never noticed it until now because I've always noticed it here at DPC. Turns out it was never a problem and still isn't.

I'd like to blame this thread on my recent illness. ;-)
