| Ok, so I have voted on 10% of the photos and commented on 6%. I'm a newbie here so I want to know what everyone's opinion is. Is it better to vote on all the pictures and leave very few comments, or try to leave good comments and not finish voting? |

Everyone wants more comments and but voting is certainly important.
So do what ever is the most comfortable for you.
Oh, and it also depends on how much time you have. :)

| I make every attempt to vote on every entry. I have a tendancy to comment in waves. It depends on how I feel. Somedays I feel like commenting and do a lot of them. Other days I don't feel like commenting and/or nothing moves me to. Then there are the days that I don't feel like commenting and I'll see one shot that opens up a well of comments that benefits every shot I see after that one... |

I seem to have missed one, im am tring to do a 99% comment on this one. Something i havent done before, I usally comment on about 10%-30% of images. But its true the comments are the most helpful part. Its great and important to vote...but... you arent going to learn if you dont know why people voted the way that they did. but i admit it is definatly time consuming (of all challenges to try to do this on i had ot do it with one with around 600 entries what was i thinking lol)

I first rate the pictures. Then I go back and comment on what I voted 1-4. If you scored better than 4, there's not much I can help you with except for style or subject.
I figure the 1-4 need help and will listen to my advice. Plus, going back on the low votes, I've caught some 3s that should've been higher like 6 or 7. |
