I stayed away from the open ruls. I guess I did fairly well against a lot of creative entries.
In retrospect, I wish I had used a different color background or changed it's color in Photoshop.

Sheryl, I loved your image, I scored it a 7.
This was mine.
A couple of people asked how it was done - nothing fancy really. Just used a shot of me (PS'd to look a little nicer) then pasted many copies of one foiled coverd chocolate candy. Each time I pasted the candy I changed the size and opacity for that 3-d look. The reflections in the eyes are also pasted in, smaller versions of the same chocolate.

This one was mine
placed 21st.
It has been a while since I had a chance to do some serious photoart so I was pleased with the result. |

I set a new personal best with over 6.6 and a top ten finish! Not bad for an entry that took about 15-20 minutes from idea to upload.
Thanks to everyone for all the comments and votes! And congrats to all the others who entered... there were some fantastic entries!
Edit for poor spelling.

This is mine, scored a 5.8 good for 47th place. I thought it would have done better, but there were lots of great photos in the challenge. Since I had to work that day, and go work out I did not have much time to take the picture and edit it. The editing was not as clean as I would have liked it, but I'm still happy with it. I also think since it has such a deep meaning to me, it would have that meaning to everyone. I got some great comments and 2 FAVORITES! Thank you.
Edit: Had to add the pic :-)

Sherpet - I loved this one. I was wondering if it was a "natural" formation of the flowers or not, so thank YOU for putting comments in that I could read after the challenge. I wish more people would do that.
VERY good finish in the challenge - congrats!!

I think mine may have suffered from the rushed post-production. I shot right at the deadline and maybe with a few more hours I could have caught some of the boo-boos. |

I think this photo accomplishes its objectives and shares a sweet thought...So, good job on that, and don't worry about finish (even if I think it deserves a better score)
