OK, not really studio, rather my dining room. These are intended to be high-key and soft, so with that in mind, rip them apart please!

Lighting: used a single tungsten 1000W softbox as the light source from front-right, elevated to 2.5m (~8 ft).

They'r pretty good for "fake" studio shots hehe! :) Lighting is a bit harsh but the kids are cute. The cheeks seem a bit burned out though.

I like the smile and energy of the first one, but the foot really seems to be coming out of the head! I would do a bit of cheating here and just cut it out of the picture!

The second one is high key indeed! I am not a big fan of this myself, but the boy is cute and all that, I just don't like the white spots in the face, and the eyes kind of get lost there!

In the third one the boy is just out of focus. Background is pinkish, the girl is bending strangely, I think this is my least fav.

In the last one the boy is out of focus to, although I prefer that one to the other one, has alot of fun in it :)

Overall, they are good shots but lighting could be alot better, and need some sharpening :):)

keep it up and show us the progress!:D

These are cute captures.
High key is very challenging! I think you've got too much light on your subjects and more is needed on the backdrop. The backdrop should be one stop hotter than your subject (example: if subject is F8 the backdrop should be F11 and fill should beF5-6.5.) I'd lower your light to about 4 feet and move it back further or diffuse it more. Ideally, your subjects should be about 6 feet from the backdrop.

Thank you for your very constructive criticism. I'll give it another try, some I will reprocess, and some I will reshoot (e.g the third one, with a slightly smaller aperture to have them both in focus. I'll also put some more light on the backdrop.)

The biggest challenge will be to get them both in the mood again:-)
