It's not good form to post large photos directly in the forums. There are people with dialup out there who would not appreciate opening this thread.

I know, but I don't have a portfolio here. And my current site is down for maintainence.. but if they open it here, or via a link on my website doesn't make any difference does it?

It does make a difference: via a link on your website with a thumbnail in the post you can choose if you want to look at the full-size picture or not. Posting a large photo directly in the forum forces you to wait for it to load, which may take a looong time if you're on dialup. Not nice. |

Ok I changed it, now I want some critiques on the photos instead of the post... please ;)

Ok. I think photo two is my favorite. Its sharper than photo 1 and the angle of the bridge seems more dramatic too me. In photo 1, everything is horizontal and the bridge is overlayed over the buildings. It makes the whole image kind of flat. The third one looks like you knocked your camera over. I don't like the tilt, and the barely visible railings along the bridge make it look like you've got some motion blur. I like the perspective in number 4 as well. |

I like the second one, perspective on the bridge is interesting, and the effect of the lights is nice. I'm not too fond of the third, too much tilt for my taste. Number four is also interesting (en spannend!), makes me wonder if those are really train headlights approaching. Might be even better with a slight rotation, to correct for the horizon tilt. |
