This is my Sins II entry that was DQ'd, along side fotomann's - the collaboritive partner. Some have asked for the link as they never got to view the images - mine or the other.
I have put up the warning although I myself do not see the image as offensive in any way, and would rather my child look at this then violence.

If it is fine to upload to your portfolio then how come it is not ok for a challenge?

well - I went on the word of one SC.....now they say they have to check with the others. This thread may very well get shut down if it's a violation. And I may have to remove the image from my portfolio. I am not trying to upset folks nor do I wish to get ToS'd |

Yea, don't see the reason why it should be DQ'd. She's just scratching and looking at this "goodlooking" guy ;-p

I said it was fine, but then received a message from another SC member that it may not be fine, so I reposted saying that I'll get an answer on weather or not it's fine or not. I supose if this dissapears, it's not fine. lol
I see that it was DQed under the TOS that you might not post explicit sexual material, for some reason I had thought it was DQed under the Challenge Rule that you may not post acts of sex.
So, I am trying to get other's opinions now. Bear with me. |

Interesting. I see the other entry with similar pose was removed as well. But full frontal nudity is okay...

I am not a prude, but I do protect my children. There are too many avenues for them to see this for themselves in the world. This is just another opportunity, and I would rather them read a book than see this stuff.
By the way, this is not an adult only site.

While this isn't an adult oriented site (and shouldn't be), neither is it specifically child-safe.
I personally don't find them to be 'explicit' -- very suggestive, but not explicit.

Leroy said he was ready to post his too, but has a big date tonight and wont be back until later on. If this does not get shut down, he'll probably post here too. |

I hope he did not bring cheese for his big date. :)
I think both were very funny, but I do understand them being DQ'd. |

Maybe not but if parents do their job this won't be seen by any. I know if my child was active on this site I would llok at all the photos in a challenge before I let them rate them. I would also be there with them as I am now when they are on ther interent.

On a scale of 1-Sick....I give it a big 10. With a loud cheer and a hearty, Hi Ho!!!
Unfortunately, that Cheese image will not freakin go away now for even longer. It has more life breathed into it with each passing day. It should be titled "The Image That Wouldn't Die"

ok - I just got a second notice from SC telling me why I was Dq'd:
Nudity is an acceptable form of art on this site. Photographs may not, however, show male or female genitalia or any acts of sex.
Your entry has been reviewed by the Site Council and/or Administrators, who have confirmed that your submission must be disqualified.
So, not sure if that is making it okay to keep the image in my portfolio or not. Guess they're dicussing ti right now. Whatever they decide I will abide by. |

Hate to break it to you, but as a "kid" (I'll be 15 in two days) I can tell you that most kids have seen a whole lot more than you think. Unless you keep you kid in a cave completely sheltered from society, there is very little that they haven't seen or heard about already. |

Ok, We have some clarification. I'll post this in both threads.
The images should have been DQed under the CHALLENGE RULE which states "Nudity is an acceptable form of art on this site. Photographs may not, however, show male or female genitalia or any acts of sex." Refering to the part about 'acts of sex' and masterbation being an 'act of sex'.
I have revised the DQ reasons appropriately, although they aren't publicly viewable.
On that note, the images in question will be allowed to stand in the users portfolios because the challenge rules do not apply to portfolio images.
Sorry for the confusion.

Well we all know that kids and parents all have 'seen and done' everything, but do you put outright porno on newpapers, TV etc. No. There are somethings we should try to abide by.
p.s: i do not mean to say that the DQ'd image was outright porno.
