I am considering buying a used Nikkor afs 17-35mm f2.8. I can't find any locally so I am looking in the US. However, I am wondering if I am going to have trouble to get Nikon Canada do service on a lens that were sold in the US. I understand Nikon is very picky on these sort of things. Anyone had a similar situation? Is it possible to get such a lens repaired/cleaned at an independant shop?
Thanks.
