Did everyone see this already? The 17-50 looks really sweet.

If they're as good as some other Tamron offerings, they'll be popular. Too bad no MSRPs.

They list MSRP on the actual product website...the 17-50 is listed at ~$750 which is less than the 17-35 MSRP so street price will probably be around $400 or so. This lens looks like it's going to be awesome since it's a derivative of the 28-75 XR. If only I weren't so happy with my 19-35.

If it performs as well as the 28-75 then I think it will be some serious competition for the 17-40L (I know it's f4 but it's more expensive then that estimated street price and a stop faster).

If the 28-200 is as good as the 18-200mm Tamron I have it should be great. I have the 18-200mm F/3.5-6/3 XR Di II LD Aspherical (IF) macro. And it takes great shots.

I just purchased the 28-75mm F/2.8 so I may be selling the 18-200 to get a very wide angle lens.
