| My First Check from Shutterstock arrived yesterday. $107.00 notbad for about a month and a half. I think I'm going to put it toward a new lens probably the Nikon 50mm f1.8. |

Congratulations.
It took me about a year to get my first cheque. I'm obviously doing something very wrong :(

You obviously capture images that are attractive to the photo stock market - so I'd suggest trying an agency like Alamy. You'd sell fewer images,but each one will net you more than you've earned so far with Shutterstock.
The D70 should have no problem making the technical quality grade with them.
Just a thought... |

It's a good feeling I know. It took me forever to get my first one from there but now I get one about every other month. I only have about 75 images there though. I'm trying to add more but they are getting very picky about noise now so be carefull and make sure you check your images very closly at 100% before uploading.
