My latest low score...and probably one of my absolutely favorite shots ever entered in a challenge...honestly I think I'd actually be worried about myself if I ever won a ribbon...

Can someone give me a clue as to what is the DPC Underground? I think I am a likely candidate for this, since my average overall score is 4.9. I've had some good ones lately, but I probably just got a moment of insanity. Now I am back to normal and scoring under 5's. Can't deal with my last entry, wanted it pulled, my model was outraged that I used it, but apparently nothing can be done. My model will never sit for me again, so my search for one begins again.

I think outraging your own model is a sure ticket to the underground. But if for some reason you don't make it, you can join the Earth Core Cadets with me...

I still enjoy visiting the site whenever I can, but have not entered a challenge in a long time.

Thom, I have noticed that - shame as your portfolio has some very nice shots in it. I would enjoy seeing more. By the way - I drive through Ishpeming daily going to and from work.

ok i guess i can join in this little soiree. My two entries which I like (and entered due to personal reasons) are dismal. I'm in Country and Virtues and unless I'm in the sorting bin, I'll be sub 5.5 for both images :(

Man 5.5 is nice! better than my average, heck my current one is under 4.0! Knew I souldn't have entered, not because it doesn't fit the challenge (because it totally does to me) or it was a crappy image on the technicals (infact its an awesome image on a calibrated monitor.) I think I know what my problem with challenges is, I don't follow along the forum post about what challenge has to entail. I read nowhere in the last challenge about it has to have motion blur, the description just said to seperate the foregorund from background, man did I get spanked with a great image, with about 15 comments saying I see no motion blur. Guess I thought it was Motion panning not Motion blur2. Live and learn I guess, yet I will always reside in the DPC Basement:)
