i'm confused on the rules?
does this mean (almost) anything goes?
like say... text in the picture? |

Yep text is okay :)
What I want to know is can I used more than one image or not? |

I don't see why not. To be on the safe side, you better make ALL the images you use be shot today, because of the "your picture must be taken after the challenge is announced" rule, which is separate from the rule section they say we can ignore. But THAT rule section says "Your entry must come from a single photograph, taken during the specified challenge timeframe. ", and they have specifically told us we can break THAT rule, so there's certainly some date ambiguity here, LOL. Seems to be no question that multiple-image composites are OK though.

Now that sounds good. One must make use of one's resources :)

You forgot the "+ idea" part of that equation. That is the deciding factor, and the factor I don't have yet for this challenge :( |

You are spot on there Kiwiness...without the "idea" on this one you might as well forget even entering this challenge. I have a good 'touchy-feely' love concept which I have captured really well but in light of the 'no limits on editing' I think my result will be average.
Got to come up with something clever...........

ooh boy. I planned out my idea without using multiple images, but it simplies the process. which is good. I have class in 7 hours and I haven't started shooting yet =). And I probably won't have time to shoot tomorrow... ok off I go. |

Submitted mine, and I really like it. However, I am a tad worried about getting TOO DARK comments like my COUNTRY LIFE entry :o( I calibrated my monitor with Spyder2 but COUNTRY LIFE is headed for brown so I am thinking maybe I did the calibration wrong. HOPEFULLY all will be ok!

This is going to be hard. I still have to get my sins shot done tonight and now this on top of it. I am going to have to get everything right in camera because there is going to be no time to do much editing. |
