A fun, yet mildly painful experience! dip thumb in meths, waft over candle, position in front of cam and click shutter.
Comments are most welcome (even those questioning my sanity)

Bacardi 151 is less painful and has a nice blue flame ;-)
But, nice shot, really like it.

Isn't Bacardi 151 alchohol? am sure thats for drinking (never had a meths moment) thanks for the idea :)

I used to do that for fun with my friends, but i must say i probably never left it lit long enough to take a picture, especially one of that technical quality.

| you could try everclear/graves grain alcohol, it's 190 proof and cheaper than 151. |

I would have suggested that... but I had some blow up in my face doing a bar stunt when I was a bartender... very, very flamable.
Isopropyl rubbing alcohol might be a better choice.

I set myself on fire trying to take twice baked potatos out of the oven yesterday - the pills on my old sweater started a chain reaction and that little video was me without the gasoline - with my 10 year old screaming "StopDropAndRoll!" and my dinner guests both laughing, yelling and beating me with towels in turn.
The sweaters a gonner, but that shots a keeper. Good job.
