Greetings,
Ok, Ive got this minor problem, but its starting to really bug me, ever since Ive gotten this PC the volume control is access by clicking the speaker in the bottom left corner icon row, then when the master volume controls pops up, clicking the wave slider, not the master volume one, is there any way I can get this so that it works off the master volume slider instead? It's only a minor annoyance, but keeps me from using the volume controls on my keyboard, just curious, and dont want to sink any $$ into this either, but thanks for any help in advance..

This may be of no use to you, but I'll try anyway.

If you have a sound card like Creative Soundblaster (and no doubt many others, too), look for the system mixer. In there, you can make all sorts of adjustments to your options.

Do you have any more info on your computer? is it a dell? is it a gateway? what model is it? does it say anything about the model of the sound card? There maybe an updated driver you can update and it will add some features your wanting.

If i were you ide just put all the volumes about halfway then use the control on your speakers. Mine are 3 way and the volume is on the little speaker that sits on the desk next to the monitor. The bass box sits on the floor.
