Has anyone done any analysis on Canon Inks lately? I'm particularly interested in the inks used in the I9900 but would like to know about any of them. I've done a Google search but the answers seem inconclusive. So I'd be grateful for any pointers available. |

I'm going to bump this because I really would like to know about the color fastness of these Canon inks. And the people who use this site, I think, are the most knowledgeable.
I intend to start pricing my work pretty soon. It seems fair to the purchaser to know how long a piece might last on his/her wall. |

The last I heard was that Wilhelm was saying 37 years under normal conditions, longer with museum setting. This was with Canon and the Photo Pro paper. |

So that would mean if you really want to keep a print for the long haul, you would be best served by taking it to a professional print house, right? |

This is an interesting source. Thank you. (37 years under normal conditions sounds pretty good to me) and when I accessed the site just now, there was plenty of material to study. |
