		| I know this has probably been discussed before however when I search for smugmug on the forums the ads are what show up so I'm having trouble finding what I need. Basically I would like to know how many of you have a Pro level Smugmug account and make money off of it. I am looking into shooting mainly gradeschool and High School sports and using a Smugmug site for this. |

I have a pro account and love it, I sell prints there also, and use it for work also so people I shoot for can go there login and see their pics, I usally do that for a short time though after they have seen them I take them down. But the customizing is cool u can do what ever u want. Also setting your own prices and also the image protection is cool there.

I use my account for sales. Mostly it gets used to display proofs for wedding pictures (probably 95% of my site is in hidden folders). But I like that I can easily share a bunch of pictures any time I like as well. I've also sold images to customers I've never met simply by having them available. But that's really not my emphasis and I definitely don't sell a lot that way.

Another thing that is kind of nice is that I have about 25Gigabytes worth of pictures online. Smugmug has yet to say "uh, when we said unlimited, we were only kidding". So I keep uploading. :-)

I love smugmug. I have a pro account as well but I don't sell anything on there at the moment. I just like having it under my own domain. I was a customer there back when it was 99.95 so they won't raise the price on me but even at 149.95/year it is worth it. I paid that much for regular webhosting except smugmug gives you the option of selling prints and it has unlimited space.
