I'm not proud of this, but on the off-centered subject II challenge that just passed, I received 4-1s, 4-2s and 38 3s! The rant I have is that I only received 1 comment during voting, and it was a nice one (probablly the single 10 that I received). Aren't you supposed to leave a comment if you give a score below 4?

I really think twice about voting so low, because I know if I do, I owe the photographer a comment why.

Also, not bragging, but my blue score is even lower that my off-centered score and I have only received 5 negative comments (thank you to hotpasta for the one nice one!) I am sure there are more than 5 1s, 2s or 3s to get a score so low.

Although I rarely vote below 3, and seldom comment for low ratings. I find that this suggestion of writing a comment for a low vote is seldom adhered to. It is a good idea, but can't be enforced - (someone suggested) unless somehow a low foto could be locked untill a comment was made.

...might also want to check the forums for previous discussion on the same topic. Last posted to today around 4PM...still active. Just a suggestion, as is commenting on 1, 2, or 3 votes. ;^)

Thanks for your comment Arcanist. It was very helpful.

(Thank you also for your comment earlier on my fantasy challenge submission -- also very helpful).
