I am trying to make a logo of sorts, and need some help with the text paths.
I am using a circle as my path, and I have text on the top of one circle, and then text on the bootom of the other. I am having some trouble with the one on the bottom.
I want the text to be upright, like this;
..the trouble with the above image is that I am using a freehand path, which isnt terriblly accurate, and i need the distance to go much longer.
..but right now i am stuck with this;
Thanks! |

photoshop is one of the worst programs to design a logo in..
if you have Adobe Illustrator then make the image you want in your logo in photoshop, open it in Illustrator, trace it to make it into a Vector drawing, then make the text in Illustrator, it has a much easier way to manipulate text and much more effective ;)
and doing it this way allowes you to resize your logo to infinity without pixelizing it ;9

Agreed. Illustrator is the way to go. If you don't have Illustrator, you might consider downloading the 30-day tryout.

not sure if this will work for ya but you can try the "AV" in the charactor palette. Illustrator really is the way to go tho...
or what about edit free transform- tried that yet?

yeah, free transform will just flip the text upside down. |

Why do you think they bundle the entire Creative Suite for just a "few hundred" more? My guess is that the majority of Photoshop sales are of the bundled Suite, not the standalone program. |
