Well, it's been a while since I've posted and I haven't entered a challenge yet this year. I've been in a funk since my computer crashed on New Years Eve and just been getting along, not really interested in doing much of anything. Been a long month, hardly picked up my camera at all. But today I did pick my camera up, took it along with me and had some fun with my daughter's team. I was supposed to be at the pet store today for a pet shoot but it was cancelled due to lack of insurance. So another thing to depress me. But maybe it was meant to be because if I was at the pet store I wouldn't have been able to go to my daughter's basketball game and watched them kick some serious butt! I don't have the pictures yet but I can tell you that they won their first game (they have lost 4, 2 by one point, 2 by several points) and my daughter Melissa played the entire first half and really kicked some butt! I was so proud of her. She even started the second half and played for a minute before she got elbowed in the head and was taken out. This is the kid who didn't even want to play, the kid who gave only what she had to but today she gave it all and it showed. I was so proud.
But now I have to get back to serious work and start finding some work for my business or go back to a regular job since our porch is in serious need of repair and the incoome tax isn't going to cover it. :(

I can't even imagine how trying it must be at times to depend on photography for an income. But, I DO know that you take lovely photos and I truly believe that you can and will make this work!!
Any time you need some extra support, just stop in here for some! :-) We've got heaps for ya. |

Thanks everyone. I am going to go out next weekend I think, gotta check Melissa's schedule, make sure she's available to watch James.

| I can sympathise with the computer crash, my computer died over Xmas/New Year after a lighning storm, Thank God for insurance, I have just finished putting together my replacement so should soon be up and running again with Challenges |
