Nah...TV's not worth it. Just read a book and take some pictures.

I'm sure he's been mentioned before on these forums. It's the guy who met a grizzly end, right?

Yeah...that's what seems to be the case.

I watched, and enjoyed, I wasn't Blown-Away like alot of the critics though.
At times I found myself laughing at loud as his crazy behavior, not feeling much sympathy for him, he knew what he was getting himself into.
Towards the end of the Film, they show some of his Still-Photo's he took, and they commented he took alot of his shots with a 50mm rather than long zooms, although they did have one shot of him behind a camera that had a "L" Lens Zoom, (well it was big and white)..
Does anyone have links to his Photo's? I tried googling but got just Film-Stills..

I watched the first 10 minutes or so, and recorded it to watch later. I saw the interview of the guy that found him when he met his end. I was very distracted though by what looked like a swarm of insects flying crazy around this guys head and he didn't even seem to notice them. I love Alaska, but you can keep me away from anywhere where I am getting swarmed 24/7.

Oddly, when I was there, in August 2003, I don't recall insects being a problem. Glad for that!
