Since there are over 600 entries, and hundreds in the other challenges too, not to mention the Shadows challenge coming up, can we have 2 weeks to vote on Free Study X? It would also mean there wouldnt be 5 sets of results on the front page when Shadows finishes, except for a couple of days at the end.

I agree--except the votes are coming in so slow, I'm not sure many people are even planning on voting!

I love the suggestion... trying to vote and comment on free study and Critique for CC, I just don't have enough time. Only 19% through Free Study... and as we know the queue for CC is around 600 photos still ...
just seems DPC is keeping us a little tooo busy lately. And freaks like me, just can't stay away.

I've started, just a case of finishing :P
Don't you think the front page will look a little crowded with Abstract, Your Shadow, Motion Panning, Free Study, and Broken all displaying? I don't think my eyes would be able to cope :P

| Great idea. I haven't even started to vote on the free study because I thought we had longer then 1 week and was leaving it till last. |

| Personally, I think a week is enough. If you look at the scores from the Best of thread, hardly anyone's average moved +/- 0.1-2 in the last week of voting. There's definitely a slow down in voting for the Free Study, but I suspect the weekend will be busy. :-) |

With a very slow dial-up connection and the new restriction of only being able to vote using one window at a time, getting through all these would take me a month. In the last couple of weeks I only got half way through 'best of 2005' and never managed to even look at wildlife. I hate to miss seeing the best shots.
