I come out of my semi-hiatus because a lot of people have been listening to me mope out this for a very long time now...
This morning i recieved word that my application for residency has been approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am no longer a "case pending alien" and cannot be kicked out of the country.
2 years of waiting and worrying has been lifted off my shoulders.
Cheers to everyone who supported me when INS got me down, because we have finally made it through all thier red tape!! |

| Congrats - Only 2 years is not a bad deal considering who you are dealing with. From experience, it can take longer :-) |

When you get your green card, make sure your picture has lots of image grain...

That mean you are not a wetback anymore? :)
Just kidding. I have a friend from South Africa that is going through the same approval process right now and it is long and arduous.
Congrats on being approved.

I take it you moved from Australia to America. Why? I am trying my best to go to Aussie land or New Zealand. So far - NO LUCK.
Although the Aussie Cricket and rugby teams are very full of themselves, they are still one of the best sporting nations around.

What? I've never noticed that. Aussies are proverbial for their sporting modesty and grace. Everyone knows that. Think you're dreamin' Marcel!
P.S. Come on over ... we could do with a few potential Boks in the Wallabies right now. |

I don't even have 2 check your profile - u r american - right? What u mean talking funny? by the way - football is rugby for sissies - you try to face a cricket ball coming at you at 140km/hr bowled by Brett Lee. My opinion - football is rugby for sissies and baseball is cricket for sissies. Basketball is VERY tall people ;-))

Wallabies are too good - very dificult to beat them in either cricket or rugby. in the Cricker VB Series between SA, Aus and Pakistan - I think SA will end second. By the way - you already have Rathbone on wing for the Wallabies. And Tiaan Strauss a couple of years back. I realy enjoyed it when he played against the Boks in the World Cup.

We don't want your wingers we want your scrum. I agree with ubique we don't take our sport serious enough in my book, fancy losing the ashes and world cup rugby to the poms :) |

Our scrum is good, but your backline is brilliant. Pity our sportmanagement is bad. We lost alot of players to you guys. Going back to Rathborne - SA rugby union told him he is not good enough to make the Boks - he goes over to the Wallabies and score two maiisve tries in the first game against the Boks.
Yes, loosing against the Poms is not gr8 for a team. I love it when the Boks beat the Wallabies - it is a massive achievement for us to do that. I play provincial indoor cricket for Natal - Hope I make the Boks this year. We will be touring Aussies.
