Hello everybody
I think that the USB problem that Olympus has it's very strange for 2006.
Is there any connectivity device that can help the transfer of the pictures from the Olympus cameras?
Thanks in advance |

Yes I think it will work fine. I don't understand why they have the low speed usb on Olympus cameras.
thanks |

Any high speed card reader will do it.
If you get a 10 in 1, you're covered for just about anything you may get later.

Except for firmware updates & the potential for tethered shooting I wish the camera manufacturers would save the consumers the expense and do away with any connectivity wither its USB 1.1, 2.0, or Firewire. It would also eliminate another source for water, dust, etc from entering the camera.
I also wish Olympus allowed firmware to be done via CF cards like other some other cameras. I never opened any of the cables that came with any of the many digital cameras I've owned before moving to Olympus.
Hey jonr, can you provide a link for that particular CF reader? I googled videogaga, but keep getting their multi-card reader instead. I have two Lexar FW readers, but would like a small USB 2.0 like that one to take to work, etc.

I found it on Ebay, try searching for "compact flash usb reader". Just remember to read the fine print, I ordered a reader like this, and although they are listed as USB1.1 and USB2.0 combatible, not all are USB2.0 full speed.
And "Full speed USB V1.1 or V2.0 connectivity " does not mean USB2.0 480Mbs speed.
