No luck...
I'm trying to use the 'Insert Image' button.
My photos are uploaded to a 'paid' account at Pbase, and I'm not having any luck. Can someone explain how to do this??
Thanks,
JD

I know we can't embed a phot from Pbase ... has to be on a special site ... I'm sure someone will tell you

The URL from pBase has to include file-type info and (optionally) a size specification, like this:

//www.pbase.com/image/11435423.jpg
or
//www.pbase.com/image/11435423/medium.jpg

You can link to small, medium, large, or original sizes. I usually embed the small version in the body of the post and a link to a larger version so the posts don't get too long, like this:

OK GeneralE...
You've achieved superhero status for the day!
Thanks...

By the way, that's a fun image below. I have to say there is just something wrong about the words 'urine dipstick' and 'tongue depressor' being used in the same sentence!!!!

With the new portfolio feature on the site, you'll be able to upload images that you'd like to embed in your forum posts and image comments.

Thanks, and you're welcome, and I guess thanks again!
At least the dipstick was unused -- I put it back when I was done. That was my "Square" alternate...

Are you linking to that image so you can explain the technique? Goody!

Those would count against the 10mb limit, right? Can those be temporary and then deleted, or will that mess up the archived forums/images? I suppose it's no worse than deleting them from an outside site...
