do you have the newest post at the top or the bottom of a thread.

| Top, seems commonsense to me, |

| By default at the bottom. I temporarily reverse it if I am currently "into" a long thread that I keep checking on. |

Me too.
Switching to top seemed bizarre at first but I quickly adjusted and it's much easier than having to scroll to the bottom every time. |

bottom and keep the # of posts/page at maximum -- I don't live my life backwards, so I don't read the thread backwards either.
Still waiting for the basic forum capability of jumping to first unread message though. :(

mos def top.
If I'm just coming upon a long thread for the first time, i'll hit the "reverse" button, read it, and then hit it again.
I was really happy when I figured out that you could reverse the order of posts :) |

| I have it on the default, like all other forums I read, so it's at the bottom. I'd really like a (1, 2, 3... last page) link on the topic names for long topics. |
