Hello,
I learned a new Photoshop technique this week that I'm pretty excited about. The following two links show how a plain unexciting image can be turned into something spectacular. If anyone is interested, I'll write a tutorial on how I did it! Just let me know...

I can think of a couple of ways to try and do that, but sure, why don't you explain your method. I certainly have a steady supply of unexciting images which could stand being made spectacular!

Hi JD

Could you put your shots on an other IP please? I don't feel like registering on DPContest. :-)

Thanks!

The links below in my first post are now to Pbase images instead of DPC images...
During the last couple of years, I've tried to come up with a technique in Photoshop to do this. I've found some that did a pretty good job, but it took me hours and I didn't take good enough notes to reproduce it...
See this image for my version of this technique:

This past week, I read a section in a Photoshop book at Barnes and Noble on how to do this better and easier. I'll find out the author's name and give her proper credit here (can't remember off the top of my head). I will start writing a tutorial on how I did the turtle photo and post it soon!
Thanks,
JD Anderson
