I had some problems with my photos: I don't have the EXIF data of all the pictures I have taken. I hadn't realised since yesterday: I wanted to participate in one challenge. So I edited my favourite one and I tried to have the information of the picture: I learned I hadn't the exif data. What can happened? I have revised in another shots and that happened as well. I wished the problem is with the memory, not with mya camera. Thanks in advance

If you're using the "save for web" option, it removes the EXIF. However, the exif needed for challenges is what's on your unedited original. It doesn't matter if the entry you submit doesn't have EXIF as long as you keep a copy of the original.

I think I haven't explain correctly: my problem is that the original does not have the exif file.

It's not a seperate file. The EXIF data is hidden in the JPG file. You can see it in Photoshop for example when you select the file in the browser window. |

Thanks mk and jhonan. I think I will make more tries in order to have more information about the reason of it: there is a problem (perhaps myself bringing the pictures to the computer) because I can see that exif data in some pictures but not in others. thanks again
